| Thallus pale fawn, thin, smooth, glossy. Ascomata immersed in raised pale fawn circular to oval stromata 1–3 mm wide; lirellae thin, intricately branched, 0.05–0.15 mm wide. Disc black, finely white-pruinose. Proper exciple non-carbonised, pale yellow-brown, complete, thick below. Hymenium 100–120 µm thick, not inspersed. Ascospores 8 per ascus, irregularly biseriate, pale brown, (4–) 6-locular, 16–20 × 5–7 µm. CHEMISTRY: Norstictic acid. |
